Therapeutic Approach

Melanie understands that deciding to seek therapy can be both intimidating as well as empowering. Melanie believes that the therapeutic relationship is so very important to feeling safe and having the ability to be open to walk along her client’s journey.  Help can be amazing when you feel a part of your journey.   So often when people seek treatment, they find themselves feeling stuck or experiencing negative beliefs about themselves such as “not feeling good enough.”  Change is important and the first step is exploring you.  Her approach combines many types of therapy but has a strong focus in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
